Who we are looking for
With immediate effect we are looking for a Senior Associate to support our Fund Accounting Oversight team in Zurich. As Senior Associate you are responsible for managing the timely and accurate delivery of accounting and reporting to our internal and external clients, by performing a daily monitoring and review of controls and procedures. In addition to identifying potential errors and mitigating risk, the position requires to develop and maintain an understanding of the client business market requirements. Moreover, we expect you to meet or exceed service levels by satisfying client, legal and regulatory requirements (SFA, ACGM).

What you will be responsible for
As Senior Associate you will be
Ensuring accurate day to day delivery of accounting oversight and administrative services for a number of client relationships including dissemination of prices and reports to the market
Supervising, escalating and reviewing the portfolio and fund level accounting for numerous funds to ensure correct accounting has taken place; asset classes include equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate components, derivatives, etc.
Providing supervision and guidance to our outsourcing partners
Ensuring Swiss regulation is applied correctly
Demonstrating an unrelenting commitment to client satisfaction
Ensuring adherence with internal policies and procedures and compliance with external governing regulations
Managing the planning, preparation and execution of all monthly audit and ad hoc deliveries
Contributing to working groups within the organization to improve our process
Completing the onboarding of existing clients’ new products and the launch of new funds and clients

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Commercial apprenticeship, completed economical studies or similar educational background
Solid work experience in fund accounting is a requirement for this role
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting conventions and techniques
ETF experience is beneficial
Proficient use of MS Office applications
Fluency in English, good German skills are beneficial
