For one of our clients, a leading chemical company, we are looking for a Key Account Managers

Type of contract: Permanent
As a Key Account Manager, your key responsibilities include:
Driving international sales of chemical products in compliance with our client pricing specifications.
Providing intensive application-related consulting and support to existing and new customers.
Developing and maintaining long-term customer relations, while identifying and acquiring new customers.
Actively participating in the development and implementation of operational measures and projects to ensure sustainable, profitable growth in the corresponding markets.
Monitoring market and competitor activities, and conducting market potential analyses.
Maintaining margins while simultaneously increasing the sales volume
Handling customer complaints in close cooperation with relevant internal departments.
This role requires a willingness to travel 30% to 40%, primarily within Europe and attending seminars, conventions and trade fairs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A commercial or technical education (FH/Uni), a chemical background is also beneficial.
Solid experience in sales or another customer-related activity in the field of surfactants for Home Care, detergence I&I, and Personal Care applications.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a confident demeanor.
Ability to organize yourself well and have high team competences.
Fluency in English; additional fluency in French or German is beneficial.
You should also be able to grasp complex information and communicate in a concise manner.
