Is responsible for the technical design of medium- to large-plants, approves deliverables to ensure that design will meet the customers expectation
Support Project Manager to ensure a proper project execution according the Bühler Project engineering process and provide technical support in case of Claims and Deviations
Actively participate in project meetings with cross - functional team members, suppliers, and/or customers
Resolve questions or problems that occur during the design and manufacturing as well as during installation and commissioning
Track schedules to insure his parts of the projects are executed completely and on time.
Prioritize and manage work hours to support budgeted hours and scheduled due dates for projects. Mitigate in engineering to ensure on time placement of purchase orders without any subsequent deliveries, and track deviations in the scope of work.
Is responsible for the assigned budget of his part of the project, including cost and quality of subcontracted design services
Prepares the necessary documentation for the installation process
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years as Project Engineer or proof of sufficient skills
Knowledge of utilities, water systems, rotary equipment, process equipment, CIP and hygienic design
Application knowledge in the use of AutoCAD & Bentley
Innovative, self-motivated, goal-oriented and implementation-focused personality
Strong written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company
Willingness to travel (20%) around the globe and openness toward foreign cultures
