Team Lead Functional Controlling (f/m)

To lead our functional controlling team at our headquarters in Schaffhausen we are looking for aTeam Lead Functional Controlling (m/f)The Team Lead Functional Controlling reports to the Head of Controlling and plays a key role in our Finance Team. He/she is responsible for retail controlling and consolidation. Furthermore, he/she is leading the functional controlling team, which comprises of a marketing controller and a sales / consolidation controller.
Lead of the Functional Controlling team* Managing the sales / consolidation controlling part, including sophisticated planning models for P&L, Capex and other financial KPIs. * Managing the marketing controlling part by supporting the Headquarter's marketing team in all financial matters. * Challenging and further developing the team with a structured and objectives approach.* Ensuring a well-balanced collaboration with the team's business partners and controlling teams and other support functions. * Implementing and maintaining effective processes and workflows which are consistent with internal rules and comply with legal regulations. Retail Controlling* Ensuring the generation of the monthly reports of boutique results, including the analysis of the figures and developing recommendations for improvement.* Reviewing and questioning the annual, quarterly and monthly forecasting processes for all boutiques.* Supporting the transformation of the boutique network from a financial point of view.* Enforcing internal controls to minimize risks and protect the company's assets including boutique Audit results.Planning & Financial Management* Participating in strategic planning procedures and offering value-added input based on a thorough understanding of the business.* Working closely with platforms and supporting the senior Management through scenario planning, creating solid benchmarks and providing ad hoc analyses.* Preparing timely and insightful financial analyses to measure progress relative to strategic plan, budget and forecast.* Coordinating the overall consolidation both in planning and in actuals.* Acting as a service-based business partner to engage with our management on eye level and foster the financial understanding inside the served departments.
Required experience* Bachelor or Master's Degree related to the finance / accounting field or similar.* Minimum of 5 years working experience in controlling.* Strong base knowledge in accounting, finance, planning and consolidation principles with a proven track record in creating robust analysis.* Proven ability to work with all levels of management and foster relationships with financial and operational colleagues.* Able to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously and organize workload accordingly to meet organizational timelines in a fast paced environment. * Experience in consumer / luxury goods industry is an advantage.* Previous successful experience in leading a team is strongly recommended.Essential Skills * Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with BI tools including SAP business objects analysis is a big plus. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with people having different cultural and professional backgrounds is a must. * Strong team working and project management skills with the passion to incite the team to peak performance.* Fluency (spoken and written) in English, proficiency in German and / or French.Personal Qualities* Proactive and forward thinking leader with an entrepreneurial approach.* Flexibility to adapt quickly not only to changing circumstances but also to a fast-paced environment.* Analytical personality with an eye for the big picture and a pragmatic approach.
