For our client, Swiss bank, we are looking for a Sustainability Risk Manager to join the Group Climate, Sustainability & Reputational Risk Management Team.

Overview of business area or project:
Group Climate, Sustainability & Reputational Risk Management has the objective to help establish, govern, and monitor Risk Appetite Frameworks for Climate, Sustainability and Reputational Risk and provide insight to Senior Management about existing and emerging risks in the portfolio and how to mitigate them.
The function sits within Credit Risk Management as a result of a new strategy to further integrate the Credit Risk and Reputational Risk processes and to manage total "client risk" on a more holistic basis.
The Climate Risk Program in particular is developing frameworks and approaches on how to measure climate risk, align to industry-wide trajectories to reduce emissions at sectorial levels, and to inform strategy-setting in light of potential climate risks.

Group Climate, Sustainability & Reputational Risk Management has three distinct underlying business as usual (BAU) teams broken out by risk stripe - Climate, Sustainability and Reputational Risk. This role would support the Climate and Sustainability Risk BAU teams as well as the Climate Risk Program team within the Risk Division's Change organization. The Sustainability Risk team consists of 9 perm FTE fully staffed and growing, and the Climate Risk team consists of 10 perm FTEs fully staffed as well as 4 contractors/consultants. The BAU team works in parallel with the Climate Risk Project team and consists of 30+ individuals. Dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial team personality.

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in transaction-level sustainability risk or credit risk assessments.
5+ years of experience with client/transaction analysis including sustainability / credit
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Sufficient knowledge of and/or previous experience working with sustainability risk topics.
Structured approach to problem-solving.
Agile working style, characterized by fast pace and willingness to accept uncertainty in initial analyses.
Strong understanding of risk management principles.
Knowledge of banking industry and key regulators.
