To support Burckhardt Compression ambitious growth in the region, we are strengthening our team with a new Sales leader. The position can be based either in Winterthur, Switzerland or Milano, Italy.
You're going to take a key role:
- Represent the Systems Sales Division for Western Europe
- Communicate and implement the BC strategy in the respective market areas
- Responsible for Sales Targets and Annual OI Forecast / Selling Expenses for the region
- Lead, coach and guide an international teamof Sales Managers & Applications Engineers in the region
- Maintain an overall awareness of developments in the relevant markets, identifying business opportunities as well as market threats
- Build and maintain effective business relationships with customers (compressor end users, EPC contractors and consultants)
- Responsible for implementing & developing sales objectives and strategies
- Satisfactory handover of sold projects to operations project management
Your knowledge, experience and skills:
- Master or bachelor's degree preferably in either mechanical engineering or process engineering, or equivalent education
- At least 10 years commercial background experience, with proven Sales Lead track record in an industrial environment, preferably within energy related markets
- Interpersonal and cultural sensitivity skills
- Existing customer network in petrochemical, refinery, industrial gas, hydrogen and/or transportation/storage segments is preferred
Your Personality:
- Sound knowledge of written and spoken English (business fluent at a contractual level) is essential, additional languages of advantage
- Interpersonal and cultural sensitivity skills
- Leadership manner and goal-oriented
- Strong Sales and negotiation skills
- Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%)
