Your role will be focused on the emissions team in the Meteorology, Environment and Aviation research unit at the Centre for Aviation (metenvia.aero), allowing lots of room for growth and development in emissions measurements, creating solutions for the aviation industry.

Your role
- Operate and manage emissions measurement systems: You will work closely with our emissions team using advanced equipment, including the Swiss Mobile Aircraft Emissions Measurement System (SMARTEMIS) and its compact version located at our emissions laboratory at SR Technics.
- Participate in measurement campaigns: You will be actively involved in emissions measurement campaigns both at SR Technics and in the field.
- Support student laboratory work: You will assist in supervising student projects and laboratory activities related to emissions measurements.
Your profile
- Basic knowledge of environmental chemistry or engineering, and/or an understanding of turbines, combustion engines, and related processes; some hands-on experience working in laboratory environments and with scientific equipment
- Basic experience of data analysis and attention to detail
- A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, open to feedback and eager to learn and grow with the team
- Reliable and well organized, with efficient time and task management; technically skilled and comfortable working with advanced scientific instruments, with a willingness to expand your expertise
Nice to Have - Category B driver's license
- Experience with measurement stations
- Solid English communication skills
