Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist will support theEuropean Marketing Operations & Communications team and play a key role in supporting the execution of marketing initiatives, events and communication activities across the region.. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Finance and external partners to manage processes, track deliverables, coordinate events and support marketing communications workflows. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a proactive mindset contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination and execution of European marketing activities, campaigns, and initiatives
- Manage timelines, deliverables and approvals to ensure smooth execution of marketing projects
- Support the standardization of event-related processes, timelines and documentation
- Manage relationships with agencies and vendors for content production and event execution, including contracting, briefing, and quality control activities
- Support the organization and execution of congresses, local events, sponsorships and marketing initiatives
- Contribute to digital marketing projects, including social media, email marketing, and other digital initiatives
- Support brand communication across countries and customer touchpoints, including local engagements
- Contribute to the creation of communication materials and tools to support the European Sales team
- Process invoices and maintain accurate budget tracking records for marketing projects
- Collect and organize data related to marketing campaign performance; support the preparation of routine status reports
- Maintain accurate records of marketing materials in the document control system, ensuring compliance with internal review processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational bottlenecks, anticipate team needs and improve efficiency (pro-active attitude)
Minimum Experience and Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Prior experience working within a high performing marketing organization and sales teams in a medical device company (B2B)
- Experience in marketing, marketing operations, communications or event coordination, ideally in a B2B or medical device environment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Fluency in English is a must; German, French or any other languages are an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software (e.g., CRM, COUPA)
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in document control and asset management systems, such as Microsoft SharePoint and Oracle Agile PLM
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus, but not mandatory
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
