Your Tasks
- Design system architecture of cutting-edge X-ray and Electron Detectors
- Balance the system architecture across the portfolio by suggesting possible solutions to the portfolio steering committee and demonstrate the trade-off between market-specific solutions and market-overarching platforms on the architecture
- Own the architecture of systems and, through that, realize business value across the portfolio
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as technical domain experts, project management teams, product management, portfolio steering committee
- Advise project management teams and take ownership of ensuring Product Compliance of the entire Product Portfolio
- Evolve the System Architecture Domain in the company to increase the efficiency of product development, leading to a further reduction of the time to market
Your Skills
- Generalist with sound understanding in technical areas such as electronics, physics, data readout in a chain from ASICs over electronics boards to software, mechanics
- Experience with high data rate readout concepts with raw data rates up to 1Tbps.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Integrating differing perspectives of others to create the best outcomes
- Open-minded, solution-focused, pragmatic approach to problem-solving in an environment with numerous opposing interests
- Bias for action and high degree of self-initiative
- Business acumen and capability of realizing business objectives with technical solutions
