Project Manager for Education and Coordination for Climate-KIC
The main tasks for this person will consist of the organisation and management of the following programmes:
(i) The Journey: Europe's largest summer school for innovation and entrepreneurship to address climate change;
(ii) The Greenhouse, a pre-incubation programme aimed at students and budding entrepreneurs with a climate business idea and the motivation to make it happen.
(iii) The EIT Masters and PhD Label programme that offers a unique opportunity to complement an existing Masters or PhD programme with Climate-KIC educational offerings;
(iv) The Spark programme, a series of inspirational lectures, talks, workshops or site visits.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Education Manager in Climate-KIC on the several programmes and will be in charge of organising, administrating and reporting the different activities. Furthermore, the person will be supporting the other KICs at ETH in their ETH related activities.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who is well versed in the management and organisation of complex projects, and who has excellent collaborative, interpersonal, analytical and creative problem-solving skills. This person is expected to have experience and/or affinity to entrepreneurship, especially in the area of climate change. You are a strong communicator and presenter and enjoy working in a team while demonstrating at the same time leadership. You need to be proficient in English both orally and in writing. Knowledge of German is an advantage, but not a requirement. A passion for education and the empowering of people are further assets to this position.
