What does the role involve?
As part our research development unit, at our headquarters, you will be working in a newly founded cross-functional team. The main objective of the team is to implement highly innovative products for the construction industry. You will have a key role in the design of the drive and the electronics of our future high energy power tools. During the development of this new technology you will cooperate with leading experts and suppliers in the field. As part of this role you will be involved in real-life customer tests conducted on jobsites across several countries worldwide. At a later stage you will optimize and provide improvement to the newly developed products in terms of performance, manufacturability and robustness in collaboration with simulation, production and testing experts.
What you need is:
University master degree in electrical engineering or similar
2-4 years' work experience within an industrial setting
Strong knowledge in designing high power drives and electronics
Affinity with high-current pulsed systems and linear drives would be considered an advantage
Passion for developing innovative solutions as part of an interdisciplinary, cross-functional team
High personal standard of performance and drive for result
Strong communication skills in English, German would be considered an asset
