You are someone who sees both the big picture and the finer details. You are interested in working with a JavaScript-based product, and your curiosity drives you to figure out how a product could work even better. In the role of Senior DevOps Engineer you will:
- improve and develop deployment pipelines and automation processes
- support our development teams in deploying our product
- dive into existing projects and take on new ones
- help with infrastructure adjustments such as scaling, configuration, networking, monitoring and alerting
- help develop and operate our Azure-based Kubernetes infrastructure
What you bring
You are experienced in DevOps or have worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer before. You enjoy working in a team as well as taking on tasks independently. You are keen to learn or already know tools and technologies such as Azure, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, CI/DC pipelines, Redis and Kubernetes. You are excited to dive into the world of journalism — and if you have previously worked in a newsroom or media company, even better. You are fluent in German and English, and can translate complex requests into clear, actionable tasks.
