We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Commercial Operations Leader to drive global sales operations, process excellence, and value creation across our organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and based preferably in Basel, this role plays a key part in shaping our commercial strategy, enhancing operational efficiency, and enabling profitable growth.
Your Role – Strategic. Global. Impactful.
- Lead global sales operations and commercial process excellence across the organization
- Ensure high levels of data accuracy, reporting quality, and process consistency
- Oversee CRM system coordination and data governance
- Develop and implement field support programs that enable more customer-facing time
- Monitor and optimize sales reporting, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline management
- Drive key value creation initiatives (e.g., pricing strategy, contract compliance, asset optimization)
- Design and manage sales incentive programs
- Coordinate and implement 3rd-party strategies in collaboration with Area Sales Ops Managers
- Lead the Tender Management Group and ensure strategic alignment
- Identify and execute improvements across all commercial processes
Your Profile – Visionary. Collaborative. Data-driven.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in commercial operations, ideally in the diagnostics or medical device industry
- Strong background in project and program management
- Solid product and industry knowledge
- Highly organized, data-driven, and process-oriented mindset
- Skilled communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build consensus
- Fluent in English and ideally one additional language
- Willingness to travel (approx. 2 days/week)
