Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting the development, testing, and operation of NIM, including:
- Supporting calibration and testing of the instrument under various operational conditions
- Assisting in the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and system issues
- Contributing to the characterization and optimization of critical components and subsystems
- Participating in the development and validation of operation and software tools
- Helping investigate inflight issues and support related analysis
- Maintaining and improving technical documentation, including design and operations manuals
- Managing inventory and procurement activities for hardware
Requirements
- A higher education degree (ETH, Uni, FH) in engineering, physics, or a related technical field
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and electronic diagnostics
- Proficiency in coding in Python and/or C++ or similar
- A motivated, hands-on, and collaborative approach to problem-solving (team player)
- Proficient written English skills required; basic knowledge of German is desirable.
