We are seeking a motivated, responsible person for leading the International Markets & Business Affairs division as of May 2020 or by agreement for the role of
Head of International Markets & Business Affairs 80-100%
In this position, you will be responsible for leading the International Markets & Business Affairs team and marketing Basel as an economic area to international clients.
Positioning and marketing Basel as an economic area abroad with the aim of generating international investment
Acquiring foreign investment
Providing expert advice and support during the entire location evaluation process
Developing and implementing the marketing strategy in international target markets
Expanding and maintaining the national and international network of contacts
Representing the International Markets & Business Affairs division in the Management Board
University or college degree, preferably in business administration, engineering and/or science
Ten years of professional experience, at least three of which in a management position and in an international environment
Affinity for marketing, experience in business development, consulting and a regional network would be an advantage
Analytical thinking, businesslike attitude and working style, strong service and customer focus and very good communication skills are a must
Strong commitment and flexibility, along with a willingness to make regular regional and three to four international trips per year are expected
