If you thrive in a highly specialised environment in a unit that supports and develops medical packaging, this is your chance. Here, you will be able to develop your specialised skills and professional identity together with other knowledge intensive colleagues.
About the department
The Primary Packaging Development department develops and supports packaging for all Novo Nordisk’s pharmaceuticals. We find the most suitable packaging for new pharmaceutical products. Also, we support the production with our specialised knowledge. Naturally, we spend a great deal of time documenting our activities. By doing that, we are at all times ready for inspection from any health authority.
You are responsible for primary packaging for injectable pharmaceuticals such as syringes, vials and cartridges. The objective of your position is to ensure technical performance, processibility and safety of the packaging.
You are in close dialogue with colleagues in R&D, Production and Supply Chain in order to assent to the requirements. You research the market and meet with suppliers to identify and refine solutions.
Your specialist skills will also be called on when our production facilities encounter unexpected events that have to be investigated and solved. Also, market feedback, new legislation and supply chain changes require your involvement. Anticipate the opportunity to work with extraordinary talent and benefit from a range of possibilities for professional development.
You hold a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry, or you have another background and experience that has elevated you to a similar level. You have some years of experience within the area of development and maintenance of primary packaging for pharmaceuticals, food or medical devices.
Preferably, you have knowledge about syringes, vials and cartridges for injectable pharmaceuticals. Also, you have experience with quality specifications, safety risk management and test documentation. Knowledge within glass, rubber, aluminium, medical devices and pharmaceutical processes is a great plus.
Finding the solutions that are sustainable, advisable and able to be incorporated in manufacturing processes is a motivating factor for you. You work in a structured manner and take ownership of your assignment, and you are willing to go the extra mile to succeed in the mission.
