In our division “Banking Standards”, we deliver highly scalable and performant software, with passion. You will be part of the Async API team. The team is responsible for managing and driving Avaloq’s asynchronous APIs, either for notifying our clients through different channels of certain events happening in our system, or for writing into another system asynchronously. We are currently building these new asynchronous APIs, in addition to that we are maintaining and evolving our existing notification framework and have interactions with several teams working on various projects.
- Develop microservice-based REST APIs
- Apply Software Development best practices, including clean code, unit testing, version control, continuous integration, and design patterns
- Write technical documentation, analyse, and resolve incidents and issues
What you need
- Advanced proficiency in the back-end competencies: Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful API building
- Git, Gradle, and Jenkins CI tool
- Testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito
- Basic Linux operating system knowledge
- Liquibase, Spring JPA, Spring Security
- Good written and spoken English
You will get extra points for the following
- OpenShift or Kubernetes
- JMS and Kafka know-how
- Avaloq, wealth management or private banking knowledge
