Internship Business Analyst - Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
YOUR TASK
Support the implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Operating Model, and the Corporate Agile Transformation Team (CATT). Business analysis and intelligence to support understanding of impacts on factors such as productivity and efficiency and enable further clarifications on roles and responsibilities already introduced for agile approaches - particularly about requirements engineering, product ownership and product management.
Output expected from this analysis is a clearer view, supported by quantified facts, on how skyguide's Scaled Agile Framework implementation shall be further optimised, and to help skyguide achieve its strategy, in a cost-effective and timely fashion, effectively linking strategy with execution, increasing efficiency and productivity, with acceptable impacts, accompanied by an effective transformation plan and roadmap.
As well as assisting the unit with this support, further enhancements to the project portfolio and project management methodology shall be made supporting the Scaled Agile Framework implementation:
Helping keep up to date the CATT Transformation plan and roadmap ensuring integration with the portfolio Kanban and backlog
Updates to necessary framework standards, practices and tools
Quantifying performance derived from internal trials and other skyguide projects using Agile and/or Scaled Agile approaches, to determine impacts regarding: development costs, productivity, team efficiency, testing, integration, supplier management, dependencies with other "traditional" waterfall projects
Helping drive a shared view as to whether Scaled Agile helps skyguide achieve its goals within acceptable costs, overall impacts and timeframe i.e. ROI and payback period favourable,Identify most effective solutions for harvesting potential benefits (using WSJF)
Resultant changes (organisational, cultural, process) required for eventual transformation plan
YOUR PROFILE
Swiss nationality or has a valid work permit for Switzerland
First or second degree in project management or engineering
(Scaled) Agile project management certification and expertise
In the process of acquiring a doctor's or master's degree in one of the above areas, with focus in Agile
Project management expertise in industry (concerning Agile transformation)
Has a clear, concise and to-the-point style of communication (verbal and written)
Is highly independent and capable to work within the team as well as autonomously
Has an outstanding appetite to learn and extend your horizon
Masters English language both in oral and in writing (level C1 minimum, advanced)
Has very good oral and written language skills in French or German; mastering both languages is a clear asset
Is prepared to travel as necessary between Geneva and Wangen-bei-Dübendorf
Has good IT user skills (MS Office, internet)
