We are seeking a dynamic Automation Lab Technician (m/f/d) to join our engineering team at Chemspeed Technologies.
Responsibilities
• Operation and monitoring of chemical processing systems and modules
• Filling systems with chemicals and consumables according to specifications
• Identifying sources of error and analyzing system behavior to support continuous optimization
• Supporting commissioning and startup activities in close collaboration with the commissioning team
• Executing and documenting functional tests, including application tests with customer materials
• Performing system optimizations and adjustments during ramp-up phases
• Conducting customer training on the safe and efficient operation of the systems
• Providing practical input for improvements to existing devices and processes
• Ensuring proper handling, storage, and use of chemicals in accordance with safety regulations
Qualifications
• A completed apprenticeship as a chemical technician (Chemikant) or laboratory technician (Chemielaborant), combined with a strong technical interest and hands-on experience. A university degree is not necessary
• Flair for technology and solid technical skills
• Confident in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and in assessing occupational safety risks
• Basic programming knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Solid communication skills in English, knowledge of any further language is a plus
• Increased willingness to travel
• Practical experience in handling chemicals, including proper storage and safe usage
• High sense of responsibility and quality, as well as enthusiasm
• Pronounced independence, drive, initiative and ability to work in a team
