PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Global Treasury Associate will support key treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, banking activities, and financial analysis. By contributing to reporting, market research, and process improvement initiatives, the role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop expertise in global treasury management and drive efficiency across financial operations. This is a part time role (20-30%) and is based in Basel, Switzerland.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of cash flow forecasts
- Support the execution and documentation of treasury transactions
- Collaborate with team in managing daily banking operations and queries
- Conduct research related to market trends, interest rates, and investment opportunities
- Contribute to recurring treasury reporting and analytics
- Participate in process improvement and automation projects to enhance efficiency
- Attend team meetings members and provide input on strategic financial initiatives
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ideally including financial modeling skills, and familiarity with PowerPoint for effective presentations
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, international environment
