Technical Team Lead (hand-on) - Electronic Components Engineering
Job description:
You’ll join an R&D engineering team and contribute hands-on to Component Engineering from the start. As you become familiar with the team, processes and ongoing activities, you’ll progressively prepare to take over the coordination of day-to-day work during the current Team Lead’s planned absence.

Requirements:
- Coordinate and actively contribute to Component Engineering activities across the team
- Manage the introduction of new electronic components in line with established processes
- Identify, assess and qualify alternative component sources as part of a multi-source strategy
- Coordinate changes to existing components in SAP together with Design Engineers
- Maintain visibility across ongoing activities and ensure tasks are prioritised according to urgency and business needs
The leadership scope is focused on technical coordination and work management rather than HR or disciplinary responsibilities.Â
- Coordinate and assign work through Jira, keeping the team focused on critical priorities
- Manage incoming requests through the central ticketing mailbox and ensure timely processing and allocation
- Temporarily take responsibility for technical team coordination, prioritisation and task management from March 2027
- Continue contributing operationally to Component Engineering throughout the assignment
Competences:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable engineering discipline
- Approximately 5–8 years of experience in Component Engineering, ideally involving electronic components
- Around 3–4 years of technical project management experience
- Around 3–4 years of experience coordinating or managing teams
- Strong understanding of component qualification, engineering changes and related processes
- Practical experience working with SAP in a component or engineering environment
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Comfortable combining hands-on technical work with coordination of a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Structured and pragmatic approach to prioritisation, ticket management and tracking open activities
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence collaborating with Design Engineers and other R&D functions
- Very good/business-fluent English
- German is an advantage, but not mandatory
