Environmental Test Engineer
As an Environmental Test Engineer in our R&D Hardware Development Services team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our hearing solutions. More about the role
- Plan and execute advanced materials analyses, accelerated aging tests, and failure analyses using chemical and physical methods
- Prepare samples, set up test equipment, and monitor the progress of environmental tests
- Interpret test results, identify root causes, and provide actionable recommendations to development and production teams
- Develop and validate new test methods, while continuously improving existing processes to meet evolving product requirements
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards for environmental testing
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and support to lab operators
More about you
- Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field (FH, BSc, MSc)
- Solid experience in laboratory testing, method development, and data interpretation
- Familiarity with reliability engineering and environmental stress testing is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of mechanics and electronics is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
