Junior Product Cost & Project Manager (m/f/d) (80-100%)
As a Junior Product Cost & Project Manager (m/f/d), you help shape the cost competitiveness and supply chain performance of our High?Speed turbocharger portfolio. You support cost transparency, drive cost?down initiatives, and contribute to our long?term value chain strategy. You take ownership of defined cost?down projects and collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Supply Chain.

Product cost
- Perform should?cost calculations for parts and assemblies
- Analyze cost structures to identify and quantify savings potential
- Identify, assess, and priorities cost?down opportunities
- Support development projects to ensure product cost targets are met
- Ensure in development projects Design to manufacturing & assembly is followed
- Provide cost input in early design phases and engineering changes
- Reporting of portfolio cost and profit performance
Supply chain
- Support defining the division’s supply chain strategy
- Support the development and implementation of the make?or?buy strategy
- Track defined improvement measures and provide input for corrective actions together with Operations and Value Chain
- Support ramp?up and ramp?down activities for products and components
Project management
- Lead small Engineering Change Management projects end?to?end
- Lead defined cost?down projects from concept to implementation
- Supporting businesses case calculations for change request ideas
- Ensure timely execution and implementation of improvement measures
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field
- First experience in cost engineering, procurement, supply chain, production, or product management
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
- High motivation to learn and take on responsibility
- Strong analytical and data?handling skills
- IT affine and AI experienced
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
