SQL Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated SQL-Specialist to help our IT Application Management team in growing, optimizing and maintaining our Master Data Management System, the interface reconciliation platform, the data quality management solution and other initiatives.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage the entire development lifecycle from requirements analysis over development, testing, deployment and maintenance for queries and database interfaces in the area of data integration, Interface reconciliation, master data management and data quality management;
Interact with the other application management teams to further enhance interface reconciliations;
Utilize our low-code iPaaS-Solution Workato for system integrations;
Document technical implementations and processes thoroughly;
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure system scalability and reliability.
Requirements
Degree in Computer/Data Science, Mathematical/Engineering or related discipline with IT focus;
Highly experienced in SQL with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL);
Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience required;
Prior experience in the financial industry and specific knowledge in asset management as a plus;
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a structured and solution-oriented approach;
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to both technical and non-technical audiences;
Fluent in English (spoken and written) and German would be an advantage;
Hands-on mindset with proven ability to deliver results;
Experience in Software development is advantageous;
Experience in working in the financial services industry and specific knowledge in asset management is advantageous;
Familiarity with iPaaS solutions (e.g. Workato) is considered an asset.
