Assistant to the Head Military Operations & Regional Aerodromes (60%)

Location: Wangen b. Dübendorf 
When: 1 May 2026 or upon availability 

Your mission:

In this role, you will use your collaborative, organized, and proactive working style to support the Head of Military Operations & Regional Aerodromes and ensure smooth processes across multiple units. If you enjoy coordinating tasks, supporting leadership, and working in a dynamic, purpose driven environment, we'd love to hear from you. Your main workplace will be in Wangen b. Dübendorf. Your tasks:
  • Collaborate closely with unit leaders as well as customers from the Swiss Air Force (SAF) and regional airports
  • Serve as a key point of guidance to the manager, acting as his extended arm by anticipating needs and ensuring smooth operations
  • Take full ownership of the division's tracking list and manage financial responsibilities related to contracts and internal processes
  • Monitor, compile, and maintain all relevant statistics and data
  • Prepare meeting materials, including agendas, documentation, and follow?up items
  • Organize logistics for meetings, workshops, and internal events
  • Write meeting minutes and support the preparation of presentations and reports while providing dependable administrative and organizational support
What we are looking for:
  • Several years of experience (typically 5+ years) in business support, combined with strong customer orientation
  • Excellent organizational skills and a structured, proactive work style with a strong focus on quality
  • A high degree of discretion, integrity, and reliability
  • Conscientious, with the ability to think holistically and develop solutions beyond the obvious
  • Continuous learning: You stay curious, value diverse perspectives, and apply new learning in your daily work. You are interested in military aviation or open to learning
  • Teamwork: You engage in interactions with diverse team members and stakeholders and actively contribute information, ideas, and insights in meetings or other interactions
  • Strong communication skills in German and English; French is an advantage
