As we continue to strengthen our global customer focus and accelerate profitable growth, we are establishing a new Key Account Director role for Global Accounts within Sales International. This role is critical to elevating our partnerships with major global customers - including Lidl, Aldi, Action, McDonald’s and other strategic retail and foodservice partners, while driving new business development, shaping our e-commerce agenda, and ensuring consistent global execution.
For this newly created role, we are looking for a senior commercial leader with deep expertise in the beverage industry, proven capability managing complex international accounts, and the entrepreneurial drive to unlock new opportunities.
SCOPE OF THE ROLE
This role will be responsible for owning and developing Capri-Sun’s relationships with selected global customers. The role will provide strategic leadership, commercial excellence and cross-functional coordination to ensure long-term profitable growth. This includes setting the global customer strategy, enabling strong local execution, driving joint business planning, and expanding our presence into new markets, channels, and digital platforms.

With our expanding global footprint, increasing customer expectations, and evolving digital landscape, the Key Account Director for Global Accounts will ensure we stay ahead of market needs while building sustainable, strategic partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Global Customer Leadership
- Lead the strategic and operational management of global customers such as Lidl, Aldi, Action, McDonald’s, and other assigned accounts
- Develop and execute global customer strategies, including annual Joint Business Plans, pricing frameworks, and multi-market activation plans
- Ensure alignment and collaboration across regions, clusters, and local markets to deliver consistent commercial standards and customer expectations
2. Business Growth & Commercial Excellence
- Identify and capture new business via export customers, central customers, potential bottling partners across geographies
- Drive volume, revenue, and profitability targets through disciplined analytics, forecasting, and negotiation excellence
- Prepare and lead global negotiations, including tenders, long-term customer plans, and strategic partnerships
- Shape Capri-Sun’s commercial approach with global customers’ e-commerce ecosystems (e.g., Lidl Online, Aldi Online, Amazon where applicable, Q-commerce partners)
3. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, R&D, and Marketing to enable seamless execution and customer satisfaction
- Act as the central coordination point across markets to resolve customer issues quickly and proactively
4. Strategic Insights & Stakeholder Reporting
- Monitor global market trends, customer strategies, competitive behaviours, and channel dynamics within the beverage industry
- Provide regular updates to the Executive Committee and regional leadership on account performance, opportunities, and risks
- Champion customer-centric thinking across the organization
PROFILE
Required experience / skills
- 12+ years of senior commercial experience in the beverage industry (non-alcoholic preferred).
- Proven track record in managing large, complex global or international customers
- Demonstrated success in opening new business opportunities and expanding distribution
- Experience working in multinational environments as a hands-on leader
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills
- People management experience is highly preferred
- Fluency in English. German, Spanish or French is an advantage
- Based within commutable distance from Baar or EU citizen willing to relocate to Switzerland
Preferred experience / skills
- Exposure to both retail and foodservice channels
- Good understanding of e-commerce business models, digital retailing, and online category management
- Ability to travel internationally as required
