Senior Electronics Engineer
Based in the Canton of Neuchâtel, Micro-Cameras & Space Exploration S.A. has been a trusted solutions provider in the field of instrumentation for space applications for over 20 years. Specializing in imaging systems, we have developed numerous space instruments in collaboration with international organizations such as ESA, NASA, CNES, and major space actors like Airbus Defense and Space, Thales Alenia Space and OHB. Our contributions have supported missions to the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, a comet nucleus (Rosetta), the International Space Station, and Earth observation.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge space technologies.
- Lead the development of hardware architectures and ensure compliance with space industry standards.
- Design, develop, and test advanced electronic systems for space applications, with a focus on imaging systems and processing units.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including firmware, mechanical, optical and software engineers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Perform detailed analysis, simulations, and validation of electronic designs to ensure reliability in extreme space environments.
- Support the preparation of techn ical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Participate in technical reviews and provide expertise to ensure project milestones are met.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
- Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in electronics design, preferably in the aerospace or high-reliability industries.
- Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design, including FPGA-based systems.
- Proficiency in using electronic design tools such as Altium Designer.
- Experience with radiation-hardened electronics and space qualification processes is a strong advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of ECSS/NASA/MIL/IPC standards.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.
