After thorough onboarding into the portfolio of drying systems for the food and animal feed industry, you will support and advise our globally located customers on technological and process engineering topics with strong focus on extruded foods and other end products of the food industry.

This is where you'll excel

• You are responsible for professional, technology-related commissioning of plants at our customers' sites across all market segments
• You will identify optimizations for drying conditions and drying processes, conduct inspections, and provide on-site customer consulting
• Based on customer feedback, new findings, and experience, you will identify potential improvements for drying systems and processes and, together with Product Management, develop new concepts for future solutions in close cooperation with the Drying Competence Center in Raleigh (USA)
• You conduct drying trials in the laboratory with and without customers (creating drying curves and deriving the technical design/specification for drying systems)
• You are responsible for the sales support in the field of drying for the European region as well as managing the digital product portfolio and advising customers and users

These are the skills you'll need

• Technical basic education as well as a completed degree in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or Energy Engineering ideally combined with practical experience in the world of plant engineering or the food and animal feed industry
• Very good communication skills in German and English, other languages are a plus
• Flexible and willing to travel globally up to 50% combined with a high degree of independence and strong self-organization skills
• Representative, competent, and confident demeanor as well as an innovative mindset
• Structured approach, high degree of independence, and strong organizational skills
