Your responsibilities:

  • In collaboration and interaction with customers,  Design and Develop Biomaterial based Medical Devices from concept to commercialization.
  • Undertake feasibility research, product development experimental activities, specification setting, documentation, small scale process development.
  • Identify scientific / technological and innovative solutions in projects.
  • Technical lead in assigned projects in a multifunction project team.
  • Develop and establish new technologies, develop patentable ideas.
  • Participate in regulatory filings and deficiency responses.
  • As appropriate in assigned projects act as project leader with planning, organization and execution of the project related tasks.

Your qualifications:

  • At least a Master's degree in a relevant field of life science (e.g. biomedical engineering, biochemistry, chemistry or other related to life/health sciences) or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years professional experience in product or process development of medical devices
  • Innovative spirit and strong implementation skills in understanding complex dependencies.
  • Professional experience in sourcing and qualification of equipment is a plus.
  • Experience in preclinical research is a plus
  • Familiarity with or interest in Collagen and/or Calcium Phosphate based Biomaterials.
  • Strong open communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Organized, structured, and proactive approach to work.
  • Proficient in German and English.
