Accountant (50 %)

Role Description

We are looking for an accountant (50%) to join our team in Altendorf (SZ)

Main Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the accounting cycle, including audits, and closing of annual financial statements in collaboration with our fiduciary
• General accounting and financial reporting including external audits etc.
• Managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
• Assisting the Managing Director in producing the quarterly management reports
• Preparing quarterly VAT declarations
• Monitoring currency exchange operations
• Monitoring commodity futures operations
• Optimization of accounting and financial processes

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Accounting principles, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
• Experience in General Ledger management and Reconciliations
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting
• Ability to conduct Financial Analysis and ensure compliance with Accounting Standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent is a plus
• Proficiency in accounting softwares and MS Office
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English and German is required
