Accountant (50 %)

Gapuma Switzerland AG is a dynamic and growing company specializing in commodities trading, part of a larger group headquartered in London. We are currently seeking a motivated accountant (50%) to join our team in Altendorf (SZ).

As an Accountant at Gapuma Switzerland AG reporting to the Managing Director, your key responsibilities

will include:

• Managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
• Preparing quarterly management reports, and annual financial statements, in close cooperation with our fiduciary
• Ensuring compliance with Swiss accounting standards and regulations
• Handling VAT declarations and other tax-related matters
• Monitoring and managing currency exchange transactions
• Monitoring and managing commodity futures transactions
• Supporting the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Collaborating with external auditors during audits
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting
• Proven experience in accounting, in Switzerland
• Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and COO, as well as tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Fluency in English and German
