About This Role
GoldenPeaks Capital is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to maintain and evolve our IT infrastructure, support business-critical systems, and enhance operational reliability across our growing organization. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of ICT and serve as a key technical expert ensuring stability, security, and efficiency in our systems and processes.
As a Site Reliability Engineer at GPC, you will be at the intersection of systems administration and operational excellence, ensuring that our platforms are reliable, secure, and perform seamlessly. You’ll collaborate with IT, QA, MSP and other cross-functional teams to automate routine tasks, implement robust monitoring practices, and manage infrastructure that supports a fast-paced, data-driven business environment. Your expertise in infrastructure, incident response, and system reliability will be essential in keeping our operations smooth and resilient.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain, update, and optimize servers, networks, and cloud environments, specifically Azure.
- Monitoring & Alerts: implement and refine monitoring systems to proactively identify issues and ensure uptime across all critical systems.
- Automation & Scripting: Streamline manual IT processes and tasks through scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Incident Response: Act as a front-line responder for operational incidents, lead root cause analyses, and implement long-term remediations.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure systems meet security standards and assist in audits, backups, and compliance workflows.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and business teams to support internal tools, infrastructure upgrades, and cross-departmental initiatives.
- Asset & Access Management: Oversee provisioning, de-provisioning, and lifecycle management of systems and user access across departments.
Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Administration, or related IT infrastructure roles.
- Strong experience with Windows server environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar) to automate operational tasks.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience implementing and using monitoring tools
- Strong communication and documentation skills with a proactive mindset.
