Senior Embedded Instrument Control SW Tester
About the Role
Within the HW Integration team, quality assurance goes far beyond standard testing. This team plays a critical role in making sure that electronics, mechanics, firmware, and software function together as one dependable system. The focus is on building trust in the product by identifying weaknesses early, improving diagnosability, and supporting the path from development to final release.
In this position, you will work in an agile environment alongside experienced software specialists and act as a key technical interface between R&D and the finished instrument. You will investigate complex system behaviour, support root-cause analysis, and contribute to integrating diagnostic capabilities directly into the design.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering and brings at least five years of professional experience in testing, preferably in agile development settings. A strong background in environments where software and hardware interact closely is essential.
You should be confident working with Linux and have solid experience in test automation. Strong analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and fluent English are required for this role.
