Receptionist 60%

On behalf of our client in Basel, we are seeking a motivated individual for a temporary role, with an immediate start for one Year, as an:

Receptionist 60% (m/w/d)

(Tue, Wed, Fri; flexible workdays preferred)
Receptionist 60%

Purpose:

* To provide assistance for all internal and external customers as one of the first points of contact within the company

* To provide support for all FM functions

Reception Services:

* To carry out normal Reception duties such as dealing with visitors and staff (issuing badges, maintaining visitors list, preparing materials for new staff, etc)

* organize the company's incoming/outgoing mail (post and courier)

* organize the company's parking facilities; ordering taxis

* distribute documents and publications as necessary.

* To carry out routine clerical tasks as assigned (operate a variety of standard office machines); to carry out word processing, filing, mailings etc as required;

Office security and HSE:

* To assist with the BCC Security & Safety Concept, participate in any relevant training and perform the assigned tasks in an emergency or training exercise.

General services and administration:

* To ensure stocks are replenished in good time (e.g. stationery, office supplies, etc) and assist with the procurement, storage and distribution of such items.

* To report any complaints/repairs/requests to FM Support and follow-up on any incidents.

* To attend the reception Team Meeting weekly (Basel/Zürich team)

Education:

Good general education

languages English, German every other Language is a plus and computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word) are essential.

Experience: previous experience in the hotel/reception field expected

Competencies:

- must be a team player and be service-orientated

- excellent communication and organizational skills

- able to work accurately, quickly and neatly

- able to work without supervision

- good presentation, outgoing personality and a pleasant manner

- be able to help visitors and staff in a friendly, effective and efficient manner

- punctuality and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures essential

- be flexible concerning working hours in order to meet the demands of the position
