For a leading pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a qualified candidate for a temporary assignment.

Location: Basel

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as the labeling lead for all global labeling matters, ensuring regulatory?compliant, current, and competitive core labeling documents (CDS, BPL, BSS).
  • Present CDS updates to the Global Labeling Committee (GLC) and lead the Extended Labeling Task Force (ELTF) to define and align labeling strategy and text.
  • Represent Global Labeling in Regulatory Affairs Sub?Teams and Safety Management Teams (SMTs), providing strategic labeling input throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Research and evaluate labeling topics, including competitor labels, scientific data, and regulatory requirements, and contribute to high?quality documentation for CDS updates and Health Authority responses.
  • Collaborate with Country Organizations to ensure timely implementation of global labeling changes and alignment with the Core Data Sheet across international markets.
  • Support safety?risk communication and portfolio stewardship initiatives with labeling impact, and deliver labeling?related presentations to relevant boards and committees.
  • Review and release international package leaflets and contribute to PSUR RA content for assigned products.
  • Mentor new and less experienced Global Labeling Managers and support continuous improvement within Global Labeling.
  • Review internal and external regulatory, safety, and legal guidelines and represent Global Labeling during audits and inspections.

Profile Requirements:

  • Science?based BS or MS; advanced degree preferred (MD, PhD, PharmD)
  • Fluency in English (additional languages beneficial)
  • Extensive experience (4-6 years) in global labeling
  • (alternatively 5+ years in relevant pharmaceutical industry or Health Authority roles)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and problem?solving skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross?functional teams in a matrix environment
  • Strong organizational awareness and understanding of interdepartmental dependencies
  • Solid understanding of medical and scientific terminology
  • Good understanding of drug safety information
