Demand and Supply Planner 100% (f/m/d) - 1-year parental cover

Are you ready to make an impact in a dynamic supply chain environment? We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Demand & Supply Planner to join our Bern site for a 1-year parental cover contract.

About the Role

As part of our Demand & Supply Management team, you will play one of the most critical roles in our Supply Chain organization, a true link between Production, Commercial, and Supply Chain. You will be responsible for translating demand into production plans and ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with a variety of departments such as Production, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Logistics/Warehousing, Project Management, Finance, and global Supply Chain departments.

It is a complex and highly analytical position where your decisions have a direct impact on the success of the manufacturing site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate supply & production: Lead demand planning (MPS/PPS), manage MRP for commercial products, and align CT material planning with project teams.
• Ensure product & material availability: Secure on-time availability and create production orders for internal and external manufacturing partners.
• Optimize and control inventory: Manage inventory levels, perform regular assessments, and handle short-shelf-life items.
• Maintain production master data: Oversee BoMs, recipes, and other master data for commercial and clinical products.
• Drive system and process improvements: Support ERP enhancements, process optimization, and participate in local/global projects.

The position will be based in Bern, with the flexibility of home office up to 2 days, depending on the business needs. You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain.

We are looking for someone ready to take ownership and deliver results. You bring:

• A degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent)
• Extensive experience with Production Planning, ideally in pharma or biotech
• Strong knowledge of production and logistics processes; project management experience
• Excellent analytical skills with solid SAP MM/PP and MS Office expertise, particularly Excel (QM/MDM a plus)
• Professional proficiency in German and English
