Are you up for a new challenge? We're looking for a : If you possess the above-mentioned profile then you are the one we want to meet for staffing our New Process Technology Team that is supporting the development of the company's new manufacturing technologies to produce , within the Manufacturing Development Center of Philip Morris Products S.A., based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
As a Engineer - New Process Technology you will be the person responsible for developing new manufacturing processes for smoke free products requiring good technical expertise, structured way of working and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team and our cross functional partners.
As a Engineer - New Process Technology you will be the person responsible for developing new manufacturing processes for smoke free products requiring good technical expertise, structured way of working and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team and our cross functional partners.
You will be responsible to:
- Handle the identification and development of new processing concepts (technologies), alternatives, initial designs, tests and understanding (de-risking) plans to meet product and process requirements under a low level of supervision
- Review technical trends and methodologies to support the process innovation portfolio
- Apply validated scientific & engineering principles and practices, and collaborate with relevant internal and external colleagues to analyze, substantiate, and identify critical to quality product transformation steps
- Produce and maintain accurate and complete design documentation that describes each new product, process technology and/or system, including all relevant information in line with Company, FDA or any other equivalent accreditation authority requirements
- Master of Science/Engineering in Material Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Food or Process engineering or equivalen
- 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment preferably in tobacco, food or chemical processing
- Fluent in English oral and written form, French as an advantage.
