We are a globally operating food company committed to creating and distributing high-quality fruit products while driving sustainable development at origin.

We develop, produce, and market premium dried fruits and fruit snacks sourced from tropical regions. Our own production facilities in Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Kenya employ more than 2,500 people directly on site, where mangoes, pineapples, and coconuts are processed for global distribution.

To strengthen our purchasing team in Buchs (AG), we are looking for a procurement professional who will be responsible for the timely and cost-optimized sourcing of the assigned product groups, as well as their logistics to our production companies.

Junior Buyer (m/f/d) 60-80%

Your responsibilities

  • Processing and oversight of orders and delivery schedules
  • Maintaining and managing supplier and product data
  • Requesting and comparing quotations
  • Communication and negotiations with suppliers
  • Close collaboration with our purchasing teams in Ghana and Ivory Coast
  • Arranging and monitoring road transport, air freight, and sea freight
  • Preparing all export and shipping documentation
  • Continuous communication with external export partners
  • Function as a key point of contact for internal and external partners (Ghana and Ivory Coast)

What we are looking for

  • Experience in a similar procurement/purchasing role
  • Education and/or training in purchasing or logistics, or supply chain management
  • Good command of English, French, and German for communication and negotiation
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Motivated and detail-oriented work ethic
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office and SAP
