Communication Manager - Content & Implementation
Euresearch is a non-profit association with offices in different Swiss regions and a Network Office in Bern. Its mission is to inform and advise Swiss applicants on the European Research & Innovation Programme Horizon Europe, and on related European Programmes. Euresearch is funded by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI).
Your key tasks
- Create and co‑create communication content (e-mail alerts, newsletter items, event announcements, key web content, presentations, story‑based and video formats such as success stories, interviews and live‑stream formats)
- Edit and structure expert input from Euresearch advisors; ensure clarity, relevance and correct framing
- Work as part of the Central Services team and collaborate closely with our small communications team, the webmaster and the Euresearch advisors
- Take responsibility and co-responsibility for relevant communication and/or event processes
- Apply, maintain and further develop Euresearch CD/CI across formats and channels
- Prioritise topics and perform communication triage
- Validate content and ensure that digital distribution (e.g. newsletter, e-mail alerts, social media, web) runs smoothly
- Explore novel technologies like the use of AI tools for communication work (e.g. drafting, structuring, summarising) and contribute to their integration in a simple internal and pragmatic manner, like AI usage guidelines for the production of communication content by the advisors
- Provide inputs to communication planning, budget considerations and analytics
- Contribute to communication‑related projects
- Provide input to content requirements and feedback to tools/CMS developments
- Maintain, further develop and implement Euresearch’s communication and marketing strategy aimed at reaching the Euresearch objectives
Your profile
- Solid experience and/or academic background in Communication/Marketing/Public Relations or similar
- Proven experience in communication, editorial work or content management
- Strong writing and editing skills in English; German is an advantage
- Very hands‑on, pragmatic working style with high ownership
- Ability to structure, simplify and visually support complex topics
- Comfortable in working closely with Euresearch advisors
- Interest in, and ideally experience within, the Euresearch environment and Horizon Europe context, including how Switzerland participates in and communicates around Horizon Europe
- Familiarity with the Swiss research and innovation landscape (universities, research institutions, innovative companies, SERI)
- Able to serve as a key liaison between communications, advisors and external stakeholders, with strong political awareness and a keen sense of wording and timing.

The salary range for this position is CHF 85’000 – CHF 105’000 (for 100%).
