Senior Internal Auditor (50-60%)

To strengthen our organization, we are seeking a highly experienced, independent, and proactive professional for the position of "Senior Internal Auditor".

This position plays a key role in supporting the Board of Directors and executive management by providing independent and objective assurance regarding governance, risk management, and internal control systems. The role requires a highly trustworthy and analytical professional who combines technical expertise with sound judgment and strong communication skills.

Yours responsibilities:

• Plan, conduct, and report internal audit engagements in line with approved audit plans and professional standards
• Independently assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, governance, and risk management processes
• Execute end to end audit assignments including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow up activities
• Prepare concise and high-quality audit reports for the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and senior management
• Act as a trusted advisor by providing pragmatic and risk-based recommendations
• Identify opportunities to strengthen operational efficiency, compliance frameworks, and control environments
• Maintain constructive relationships with Group Internal Audit, CFO, Board members, and local management
• Contribute to the enhancement of internal audit methodologies, tools, and best practices

Your profile:

• Senior level experience in Internal Audit with a proven track record of independently managing audit assignments
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, internal controls, and risk management practices
• Experience interacting with Boards, Audit Committees, and senior stakeholders
• Experience in matrix reporting environments is considered a strong advantage
• Highly accurate, reliable, and structured working style
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and provide sound recommendations
• Excellent judgment, integrity, and professional scepticism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
• Fluent in English is mandatory, German and Spanish are considered strong assets
