As Sustainability Manager (a) you are responsible to develop and implement sustainable strategies, you will monitor their execution, and ensure that environmental, social, and governance aspects are integrated into corporate operations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sustainability goals and communicate progress transparently.

• Development and implementation of long-term sustainability and environmental strategies aligned with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements, and ESG commitments
• Track, analyze, and report sustainability KPIs (including emissions, energy, water, and waste), including ESG and Sustainability reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Driving initiatives to reduce energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, water usage and waste generation
• Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for products
• Planning and conducting environmental audits, supplier assessments and and sustainability ratings (e.g. EcoVadis). Identification of risks and definition of corrective and preventive actions
• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of environmental and energy management systems and certifications, including ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management System)
• Promote sustainability awareness across the organization through training, communication, and engagement programs, fostering environmentally responsible behaviors
• Identify and evaluate innovative technologies, materials, and processes that improve environmental performance and support sustainability goals
• Support CSR initiatives with a focus on environmental impact, community engagement, and alignment with corporate sustainability values

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (with a focus on sustainability), Energy & Resource Technology or related fields
• Comprehensive experience in the field of Sustainability/ESG
• Knowledge of common sustainability standards and certifications
• Ability to analyse sustainability indicators and present them in sustainability reports
• Skills in managing projects, particularly in the area of implementing sustainability initiatives
• High communication skills and team orientation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent written and spoken in English, a good command of German or Italian as a plus
• Familiarity with MS Office and IT affinity, KPI driven
• Knowledge of software tools for sustainability management and reporting (e.g. carbon footprint tools, energy analysis software, ESG data management systems)
