We are looking for a highly motivated Research Chemist for a temporary assignment in Stein

Research Chemist

Your Responsibilities

  • Synthesis: Independently execute synthetic routes in a safe, efficient, and sustainable manner.
  • Route Design: Contribute to the design and optimization of synthetic pathways using your chemical expertise and digital tools.
  • HSE Compliance: Perform detailed risk assessments and follow internal HSE standards for all experiments and raw materials.
  • Documentation: Record all experimental work with high scientific accuracy to support reproducibility, digital integration, and IP protection.
  • Problem?Solving: Troubleshoot synthetic challenges independently and as part of a project team.
  • Continuous Development: Stay up to date with modern synthetic methodologies and contribute to improvements in lab processes and workflows.

Must haves

  • Master’s degree in synthetic/organic chemistry,
  • or 3–5 years of industrial experience following completion of a chemistry apprenticeship.
  • Strong practical experience in synthetic organic chemistry, including reaction design, purification, and structural analysis.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross?functional project teams.
  • Proficiency with software tools for synthesis design and data analysis.
  • Fluent English (written & spoken). Additional languages are an advantage.
