The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role oversees the entire project lifecycle—from initial requirements gathering through implementation and transition to operations—while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and IT governance standards.
Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives (software deployments, infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, integrations, etc.).
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resource needs, and budget.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Ensure project milestones and objectives are met according to agreed requirements.
- Drive implementation of ITSM Framework (Service Now)
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with business owners, technical teams, and external partners to define requirements and ensure project alignment.
- Facilitate regular communication, status reporting, and progress reviews, steering committees with stakeholders.
- Address risks, issues, and changes proactively; manage escalations where necessary.
Team Coordination & Leadership:
- Coordinate cross-functional/departmemt projects
- Promote strong teamwork, accountability, and transparent communication.
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
Quality Assurance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive acceptance testing, documentation, and operational handover.
Financial & Vendor Management:
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.
- Manage vendors if involved in the project
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in IT project management or leading technology initiatives.
- Proven track record in delivering complex IT projects.
- Experience in working with Service Now (ITSM)
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Planner).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High degree of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English. Fluency in German or any other languages will be considered as an added value.
- Job location: 3 days per week in Davos AO Headquarters and 2 days per week remote
Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent.
- Scrum Master or Agile certifications (e.g., PSM, CSM).
