Junior Packaging Data and Operations Specialist

Purpose

Ensures the management of all packaging-related data within master data management systems, maintaining data integrity, supporting the packaging code life-cycle, and enabling operational efficiency.

Understands basic requirements for packaging and transporting dangerous goods

Key Accountabilities

• Ensures that all operations under direct control comply with the company's & Environment policies
• Contributes to collaboration and interaction with other PT&E groups (Analytical, , Application, Formulation
• development and Formulation Engineering) and Logistics to support delivering the best product experience for the customers
• Assist in basic interactions with external partners, such as suppliers and technology partners, to support packaging projects. Focus on learning and understanding collaboration processes.
• Develop awareness of project timelines and resource needs. Learn to follow schedules and seek guidance to prioritize tasks effectively
• Collects and tracks project costs, performing basic cost analysis
• Follows standard operational excellence procedures and participates in improvement initiatives within their scope of work
• Coordinates specific project components, collaborating with team members to ensure timely completion. Monitors progress against defined milestones, identifies potential issues, and proposes solutions
• Understands packaging materials, designs functional packaging meeting requirements, and has basic knowledge of testing methods to ensure quality standards
• Follows established packaging quality control procedures and guidelines, performing basic quality checks on filled and packed products to ensure compliance with specifications, and reports any deviations or non-conformities

Experience & Skills

• Commercial or technical educational background (e.g., commercial apprenticeship with further education, technical degree, or equivalent)
• Basic experience (1-2 years) in data management, documentation, or administrative support roles
• English C1 Level, German beneficial
