The CABB Group is a leading Crop Science contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), supplying customized active ingredients. For our Custom Manufacturing operations within the Development department in Pratteln Switzerland, we are looking for a

Development Chemist, PhD, 100% (permanent position)

Your tasks

  • Develop economically and ecologically sound and optimized manufacturing processes for new and established products in close collaboration with our development and laboratory team/ our chemists and laboratory technicians
  • As a Development Chemist you will take on project management responsibility and ensure that development work is completed on time and in full
  • You will be responsible for the process transfer from the laboratory to commercial production in cooperation with all stakeholders. In this context, you will coordinate the project-related activities of several specialist departments
  • You will assess and evaluate technical packages to support business case preparation in close collaboration with the Sales organization
  • Serve as a key contact person for our customers at the chemical/technical level

Your profile

  • You have a University degree in chemistry with a doctorate/PhD or equivalent in preparative organic synthesis and a strong understanding of technical chemistry and/or chemical engineering principles
  • Experience in the agrochemical and/or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
  • You are a teamplayer with strong communication and organizational skills combined with flexibility
  • You appreciate working in a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to think creatively while delivering strong outcomes  
  • Excellent German and English skills written and spoken
