(Junior) Analytics Engineer - Dynamic Pricing (f/m/d)

Team Ava is the analytics team behind dynamic pricing at Digitec Galaxus. As an Analytics Engineer, you’ll help shape pricing across our store using analytical methods. If you’re curious, enjoy working collaboratively, and like crunching numbers with precision, we’d love to hear from you.

Your responsibilities

• Model and transform data using SQL to build clean, well-structured data models that form a reliable foundation for reporting, analytics, and data science.
• Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports that present data clearly and enable stakeholders to independently access insights.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses using SQL and Python to answer concrete business questions, create meaningful insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Support our pricing solutions by working closely with the team to operate and continuously improve them, ensuring alignment between technical implementation and business logic.
• Work closely with the team and stakeholders, considering business context behind pricing decisions and ensuring clear communication of insights.

Your skills

• Relevant experience in data and analytics, gained through professional experience and/or a degree in a relevant field, including hands-on analysis, building dashboards, and supporting business decisions.
• Comfortable working with SQL and Python, with experience using BI tools and basic exposure to ETL processes, and a motivation to further develop technical skills.
• Curious, communicative, and eager to learn, with the ability to understand complex topics and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Using creativity and initiative to solve problems and achieve goals.
• Fluent in English, with good working proficiency in German or a strong willingness to learn.
