Welcome to Geospatial Content Solutions (GCS), a business area within Hexagon Geosystems. GCS designs and develops revolutionary technologies built to enhance solutions in aerial data acquisition, processing, and DaaS content. As Product Manager / Teamleader, your role will be pivotal in gaining insight into our customers' current and future needs. Evaluating and quantifying ideas and improvements, which are co-developed with R&D.

Product Manager / Teamlead - Airborne Solutions (f/m/d)

This appeals to you
  • Evaluate customer needs and define & justify new solutions and improvements co-developed in HW and SW
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary projects from the business plan to the product release
  • Lead a distributed team of product managers and application specialists responsible for airborne sensor and data workflow products
  • Align and plan assignments in team to achieve overall goals, continuously improve efficiency and transparency
  • Guide and interact globally with customers, partners, sales and support teams
  • Manage and monitor the life cycle of products from definition to phase out
  • Collaborate with customers and sales, and present airborne solutions during exhibitions and conferences
  • Assess new applications and their business potential
  • Define products plans, contribute to roadmaps and communicate vision and goals
This is you
  • Proven track record as a product manager with at least five years in development of complex technical systems (hardware & software) and requirement gathering methodologies.
  • University degree in engineering or physical science with solid practical experience
  • Knowledge in geospatial, imaging and Lidar applications is an advantage
  • Entrepreneurial and persistent with focus and a holistic perspective on customer benefits and ROI
  • Self-reliant and organized in reaching goals and drawing conclusions
  • Analytical in solving problems and transparent in setting priorities in an interdisciplinary environment
  • Curious to explore new solutions while managing risks, motivated to continuously learn
  • Hands-on team player with excellent listening, interpersonal and communication skills in English and German
  • Experience as team leader is required, both direct and in a matrix
  • Up to 30% travel might be required
