What you do
- You collaborate with engineering teams on AI and automation projects and support the ongoing development of internal tools and platforms
- You write clean, maintainable code across the full stack (frontend & backend) and test and debug software components to ensure robustness
- You participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews (Agile methodology) and document features, APIs, and architectural decisions
- You develop REST APIs to expose AI/automation functionalities and manage databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- You integrate third-party AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services) and build small proof-of-concept (PoC) AI tools (e.g., document summarizers, chatbot prototypes)
What you bring
- Ongoing studies (BSc/Master) in Software Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or an equivalent field with a relevant focus
- Experience in developing and implementing full stack applications and automation processes
- Knowledge in integrating AI APIs and developing proof-of-concept AI tools
- Ability to collaborate in a multicultural and diverse team, as well as to innovate and develop new solutions
- Good language skills in English, German would be an advantage
