(Junior) Business Analyst for Firm Wide Applications

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented (Junior) Business Analyst to join our Platform Management team with focus on firm-wide applications such as Document Management System (DMS), Business Process Management (BPM) and Investor Portal. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, analyze processes, design Target Operating Models (TOM) and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions supporting our platform. The main goal is to implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency, client engagement and regulatory compliance.

In this role your key responsibility will be:

  • Drive gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements for firm-wide applications related to document management and investor portal;

  • Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements aligned with strategic objectives;

  • Collaborate with various teams such as Investment Management, Business Development, Compliance, Operations, and IT to understand business challenges and translate them into functional specifications;

  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and solution capabilities;

  • Support Business Application Owners in their project management activities, such as organizing workshops, overseeing IT delivery, preparing status reports and resource & work planning;

  • Lead application testing, issue tracking, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs;

  • Maintain and update process documentation, train business users, push for adoption and support change management process;

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data insights and user feedback.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent, qualifying experience in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Information Technology or related fields;

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a business analyst or related role, preferably within the financial services industry and/or with a leading consulting firm;

  • Basic understanding of alternative investments and private market operations is an advantage;

  • Familiarity with document management systems such as Microsoft Share Point is a plus;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at various levels;

  • Must be comfortable with constructively challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to improve processes and results;

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with project management and documentation tools is a plus;

  • Great team player and ability to work collaboratively at various levels of the organization.
