For the strategic leadership of our product development – and as a member of the Executive Management – we are looking for a strong, thoughtful personality with design sensitivity, technical acumen, and a holistic mindset.

Product Development Director

In this role, you will not only shape products – you will shape environments, mindsets, and experiences. Together with an interdisciplinary team, you will lead the global design and product strategy – covering product management and engineering, sustainability, and IP rights. You create the framework in which ideas evolve, perspectives are integrated, and innovation takes form. Your thinking is consistently user-oriented, interconnected, and guided by a deep understanding of brand identity, functionality, and impact.

A particular focus lies in the development and coordination of international projects. You will manage complex development processes across locations, cultures, and disciplines – with a clear view on priorities, resources, and strategic leverage. At the same time, you will systematically drive new ideas forward and know how to transform innovation into market-ready solutions. International presence and travel readiness are integral to your role – both for coordination and for inspiration in a global context. Close collaboration with the international market organisations – in particular with our national subsidiaries – is just as much a part of this role as integrating local perspectives into the overarching development strategy.

You bring several years of international leadership experience in developing complex products or systems – whether in the field of industrial design, high-end architectural solutions, technological innovation, or iconic branded goods. You combine strategic foresight with an open, appreciative leadership culture and promote creative excellence across your teams. You hold a university degree in design, engineering, architecture, or a related field. You are fluent in both German and English; international experience is a prerequisite.
