Your Mission:

·        Act as the point of contact for IT hardware inventory related matters

·        Perform regular scans and checks of client hardware items and CMDB.

·        Maintain an up-to-date list of all findings

·        Provide regular and on demand inventory scan reports

·        Ensure quality of Hardware inventory data is continuously reviewed and up-to-date

·        Assist the team in the movement of IT hardware from location to location when required

·        Assist Field Support with IT Client Hardware moves and installations

·        Assist with staging of IT Client Hardware 

For our client, one of a leading bank, We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Stock Controller to support IT Services by ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of IT hardware inventory data.

• Start: ASAP or in August
• Duration: unril 31.03.2026
• Location: Basel
• Pensum: 100%, 50% home office
• Contractor at Swisslinx

Your Profile:

·        Minimum one year of experience in inventory management/stock control or a similar role (could consider a student who has done a similar role as an internship)

·        Experience in a customer facing role in a corporate environment.

·        Fluency in English.

Interpersonal skills:

·        Excellent organisational and time management skills, accuracy, speed and attention to detail

·        Able to carry out assigned tasks in a professional, efficient and timely manner with a sense of ownership and follow through.

·     Strong communications skills to enable delivery of clear communication to different audiences, to manage customer expectations and service partner deliverables.

Nice-to-Have skills:

·        Client Inventory experience desirable

·        ServiceNow experience desirable.

·        Another major world language skills.
